Smiths PRO-trim is a stockist and supplier of tile trim and dryline wall trim products. Our extensive stock is available via our UK wide distribution network. We welcome order enquiries from merchants and showroom businesses.
We supply a range of aluminium ceiling grid cross tees to form a non-ferrous grid for ceiling tiles.
The cross-tee grid fills a ceiling with standardised apertures suitable for fixing commercially available ceiling tiles. Our ceiling grid system caters for mineral fibre, glass-reinforced Gypsum and metal pan tiles.
As the system design utilises aluminium (6063 in T6 delivery condition), our grid system range finds extensive and varied use. Hospital MRI suites (magnetic resonance imaging) benefit from this system because aluminium is a non-magnetic alloy due to its crystalised structure.
High humidity environments such as computer server rooms are also suitable for our system since the grid is manufactured from 6063 extruded aluminium which offers good corrosion resistance.
Application for the use of range covers two main areas - to create a suspended ceiling in areas where a lower solution is required or cover the services that run across the underside of a floor slab above. Our aluminium ceiling grid works with our specially designed clips which complement our non-ferrous grid system.
Whether you require a ceiling grid or finishing trims for your drywall installation, we stock all the trim products and supportive fixings to cater for your requirements. Stock product availability is the next day, and we also offer custom supply options for customers who require a more bespoke solution.
Polyester powder coated, standard White RAL 9010 20% Gloss. Most RAL colours are available as a custom order. Please contact our sales office to discuss requirements.
Standard products supplied in 3m lengths. Custom options include lengths up to 6m. Products over 3m will incur an additional carriage charge- further bespoke options are available (see curving, fabrication and metalwork).
