Smiths PRO-office specialises in supplying partition wall and door systems to the office fit-out market.
Smiths PRO-trim is a stockist and supplier of tile trim and dryline wall trim products. Our extensive stock is available via our UK wide distribution network. We welcome order enquiries from merchants and showroom businesses.
Our L shaped edge trims (also known as drywall end trims) terminate a sheet of plasterboard, which finishes the rough cut edge with a crisp, white aluminium extruded profile in readiness for taping and jointing.
We produce edge trims from 6063 aluminium alloy, an extruded architectural grade which we supply in the T6 delivery condition (temperature tempered). The innovative product design includes an inverted "V" groove backplate with a specially designed screw channel for secure adhesion of the jointing compound. This feature reduces the likelihood of settlement cracking and dropout.
We supply edge trims in standard 3m lengths from stock, although custom lengths up to 6m are possible. Extending the trim size reduces onsite cutting and wastage and improves the overall aesthetic by minimising the number of visible joints in the finished installation.
Our edge trims find use in dry lined interior fit-outs where wet plastering is considered too slow and messy, resulting in more significant expense. The screw channel design accepts bugle drywall screws suitable for the structure where the plasterboard is fixed.
Polyester powder coated, standard White RAL 9010 20% Gloss. Most RAL colours are available as a custom order. Please contact our sales office to discuss requirements.
Standard products supplied in 3m lengths. Custom options include lengths up to 6m. Products over 3m will incur an additional carriage charge- further bespoke options are available (see curving, fabrication and metalwork).
