PRO-gap is our range of bath edge trims - our products disguise the unsightly appearance of intersections between the wall and your bath or shower tray.
The colour variations of PRO-gap products complement most colours of existing baths and shower enclosures. Waterproofing is not the primary objective of PRO-gap. However, with the appropriate use of silicone combined with the smooth product design, water ingress or pooling is avoided. The main benefit of PRO-gap is to cover any poorly applied or excess silicone between walls and bath/shower units. You can order your PRO-gap products with matching colour end caps and internal aluminium corner accessories.
During a refurbishment, structural walls' squareness may not always be reliable, resulting in appearance issues when fitting a new bath or shower. Such occurrences are typical in older properties, due to settlement over previous decades. New bathroom appliance design utilises modern engineering techniques making their dimensions incredibly reliable. So, how do you get around this?
The installation of PRO-gap to the new bath or shower tray's perimeter will effectively cover any gaps between the wall and the installed piece. With the parallel nature of PRO-gap, the design fools the eye into seeing a straight and square junction; this provides a very pleasing solution at a much lower cost than squaring structural walls.
