When it comes to installing glazed partitioning on-site, time is literally money. This is why we at Smiths have developed our clip-in gasket for a much faster installation on-site.
The clip-in gasket is designed to easily fit neatly into our head and wall section; once installed, it is just a case of sliding the glass into position. The gasket seal is designed to firmly hold the glass in position at all times. However, as adjustments need to be undertaken during the installation process, it has also been designed to allow you to adjust the positioning of the glass easily.
The clip-in gasket comes in 3000mm lengths and can easily be trimmed to the desired length on-site using a sharp knife. The finish of the gasket is a clear plastic, allowing for the gasket to appear almost invisible when installed.
We currently have 2 types of clip-in gaskets available to allow us to cater for different glass thicknesses ranging from 10mm up to 12.8mm.As with all of our systems, the clip-in gasket is designed to seamlessly integrate with the other glazing gaskets we offer.
