If you are looking for ceiling edge trims suitable for use with Gypsum plasterboard, you have come to the right place. Our products are jointing trims used horizontally between the plasterboard surface and a metal ceiling tile, providing perimeter support for the tile.
Our ceiling trim products provide a neat finish for the edge of a plasterboard ceiling or covered lintel while transitioning to a metal tiled grid ceiling. Known as a 'lay in' metal to plasterboard transition, you should use compliant twist and lock hanging clips to fix the trims or screw the upstand.
We manufacture ceiling edge trims from architectural grade aluminium (6063 in the T6 temper), a precision extruded temperature tempered profile. The alloy offers numerous benefits. Apart from medium strength with good corrosion resistance, 6063 provides a pleasing aesthetic appearance and finds everyday use in intricate extruded parts. Aluminium also represents one of the most readily recyclable materials available.
We offer ceiling trims from stock in 3-metre lengths with custom supply options to a maximum length of 6 metres. Utilising trims greater than 3-metres reduces the number of joints, onsite cutting and wastage. Further customised options are available, including factory metal curving and special factory finishes.
