Smiths PRO-trim is a stockist and supplier of tile trim and dryline wall trim products. Our extensive stock is available via our UK wide distribution network. We welcome order enquiries from merchants and showroom businesses.
Flexible edge trims are similar to our edge trim range but can be bent onsite, giving installers great options when attempting to achieve a particular aesthetic, especially a modern look.
Like edge trims, our flexible edge trims finish against a sheet of plasterboard. Instead of a rough cut edge, the result is a crisp, white aluminium extruded profile finish ready for taping and jointing.
We manufacture flexible edge trims from 6063 aluminium alloy in the T6 temper. 6063 is an architectural grade material that offers good strength and corrosion resistance. The edge trim incorporates an inverted "V" channel with a specially designed screw channel for secure adhesion of the jointing compound. Secure bonding is crucial as it reduces the risk of settlement cracking and dropout.
Our stock range includes 3m lengths as standard. We also supply custom trim options in lengths up to 6m. More extended trims offer installers numerous benefits, including reducing onsite cutting and wastage, while the finished installation boasts a more seamless finish with less noticeable joints.
Wet plastering for dry lined walling in interior fit-outs is a slow and often messy process and may result in additional expense, and our trims help mitigate this problem. The design includes a screw channel that takes drywall screws suitable for fixing to the existing framework.
Polyester powder coated, standard White RAL 9010 20% Gloss. Most RAL colours are available as a custom order. Please contact our sales office to discuss requirements.
Standard products supplied in 3m lengths. Custom options include lengths up to 6m. Products over 3m will incur an additional carriage charge- further bespoke options are available (see curving, fabrication and metalwork).
